Frequently asked questions

What is conscious leadership?

Conscious leadership is the understanding that all things are human things — every problem a human problem, every solution a human solution. We may modify the human with tooling to reach those solutions, but it is never about the tooling and never about the frameworks. It is about the operator. And it goes further: none of what we perceive is base reality. Beneath the construct are energetic signatures invisible to human senses — signatures that can be learned, influenced, wielded. Action in the world is caused through those systems, not through the construct sitting on top of them. Call it The Force. It is real — it just doesn't look the way the movies drew it.

How is this different from life coaching?

Life coaching is a methodology: it equips you with tools, and mentorship in using those tools to manage the construct itself. Conscious leadership contains elements of that, but it is far more concerned with why those tools have any effect at all. It is a first-principles approach to reality. It alters your base perception so you don't have to remember to use the tools — reality reasserts itself until they become common sense, automatic, instead of an accessory bolted on from outside. It addresses the principles of change rather than the methodologies of change.

What happens in the first session?

The First Conversation is 90 minutes, by video call, and it is the work itself from the first minute — not a consultation or a sales call. You bring whatever is actually going on; the conversation finds the pattern underneath it and puts a crack in it before the time is up.

What does a session cost?

The First Conversation is $275 for a 90-minute session, prepaid at booking. The Business & Systems discovery call is free. A longer engagement (The Container) is being built and is currently by application/waitlist only.

What is ontological engineering?

The deliberate rebuilding of what a person takes to be real — going into an unformed situation, whether a company, a program, or a person's psyche, and building the structure that wasn't there.

Do you work with businesses?

Yes. The Business & Systems track covers AI integration, automation architecture, sales and business development, and systems that take a company out of one person's head. Saylor & Co. is also ATP's contracted AI integration partner for enterprise implementation work.

Is there a longer-term engagement available?

A deeper, multi-week engagement is currently being designed. It isn't open yet — you can leave your name to hear about it first, before it's publicly available.

Who is this work for?

Anyone willing to do the work — a founder, an employee, or someone with nothing but hunger and a decision. It isn't screened by job title or industry; the client list runs from a police service to a wilderness recovery program to an AI startup to individual mentees. The range is the point.

Where is Saylor & Co. based?

Alberta, Canada. Most work is performed remotely, by video call — location isn't a barrier.

How do I book a session?

Use the "Book the Conversation" button for the First Conversation, or "Book a Discovery Call" for the Business & Systems track. Both go straight to the calendar — nothing beyond the booking itself.

What if I need to reschedule?

Reach out directly — the fastest way is replying to your confirmation email. No reschedule forms.

Is the session in person or online?

Online, by video call (Google Meet is the default). If an alternative works better for you, say so when you book.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay and Google Pay, cash, e-transfer, and select cryptocurrencies (10% discount). Full details are on the Payments page.
